Today we are announcing, with happiness and a tear, that our General Manager Dana Faulk has been promoted to the General Manager of Food and Beverage at the Westin Westminster. Dana has accepted the challenge of taking on the opening of our newest property, Kachina! For the past year and a half, Dana has helped reshape, refine, and reconnect TCO. It was with the help of her knowledge, support, and leadership that TCO has developed into one of the restaurants to be at in Denver CO. She will always be considered part of our TCO family, and we can’t wait to see what she does with the new SRG property opening in just a couple of months! She is sure to see many of the TCO staff visiting her in the North for a nifty beverage and a Southwestern bite to eat!

With Dana’s farewell we were in search of the next master to take over what our team calls the “beast of TCO.” That is what led us to Jerome! We are extremely excited to announce that Jerome Fosset is the new General Manager of The Corner Office! Jerome comes to us from a sister property, the Nines Hotel in Portland OR. He will be moving to CO with his wife and two daughters, and we are very much looking forward to adding all of them to our TCO family! Jerome has an extensive background in five star service, management, and event management. He was originally from France and has traveled throughout much of the United States for pleasure and work. One of the TCO cornerstones is being global, and we are surely going to be looking to Jerome to expand our global concept.
Welcome Jerome!

In Colorado, January equals Snow. In Denver, January equals Snow Sports. Each year, D-town hosts the wickedest winter conference around, Ski Snow Sports Convention, fondly called SIA by the hot snow bunnies bouncing around downtown.
This year TCO welcomes back our SIA partner, DC Shoes. They invade us every year…and being violated has never felt so good.

From window covering to branding our taps to outfitting our staff in killer DC gear, TCO was transformed into a high-fivin’ mecca of sexy shredder beauties.

And that was just the beginning of our SIA madness. This year we got our locals, a.k.a. flatlanders, involved. Show your pass, get a Snow Bunny shot on us. Who can say no to flaming whipped cream? At least your pass gets you SOMETHING white this season…sure ain’t been the snow.

So now we rest, and recoup, and recover. The hot snow boarders and badass radgirls have left the building…only to return again next year for more shenanigans, lots of beer, and probably more than 1 walk of shame. Damn, we sure will miss them.

The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar, Denver, Colorado

Halloween came in a flash and exited in complete chaos. Now it is time for the next big holiday, Thanksgiving.

Have you heard of Black Wednesday? It is the lesser known, unofficial party night of the year. It is Thanksgiving Eve, and this year TCO is spicing the night up and throwing a not-to-miss party: The Turkey Time Machine. We are bringing you back to the 90’s with music, grub designed by Chef Will, and shots! You heard correct, all your favorite shots from the 90’s will be pouring strong for $3 all night long. Think Jello shots, Kamikazes, Alabama Slammers, AMF, and Bahama Mamas. Come party with us, but don’t forget to get some rest, because you all know what the next day is…Thanksgiving!

For Thanksgiving, it’s SoCo at TCO. A traditional Southern Comfort Thanksgiving will be featured from 11am – 8pm at The Corner Office. Chef Will has created a four course meal that will have your guests talking all year long. The first course starts with your choice of Roasted Pumpkin Soup or Low Country Oyster Stew. Then we dive straight into your second course giving you the choice of Waldorf salad, a deviled egg flight, or pimento cheese tea sandwiches. Your choice of Coca Cola glazed country ham, roast turkey breast and thigh, slow cooked pork shoulder, or a fried turkey leg. Each protein meal comes with grandma’s dressing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, and Parker House rolls. I know you are full just thinking about it, but you must save room for your last and final course – dessert! We will have your traditional pumpkin pie with house-made cool whip and a bourbon butter pecan pie. We’ll also be rockin’ some southern delicacies for pre-order. Haven’t you always wanted to try a turducken? I KNOW your mouth waters over the thought of a whole fried turkey. You can get it here on the day of giving thanks.

Come let us take care of you…and your friends and family…with a little southern hospitality, charm, and stick-to-your-ribs favorites.

Great American Beer Festival & Beer Week at The Corner Office #GABF

Autumn comes and with it, begins the harvest, cool crisp nights and changing colors. Here in Denver, it also brings Denver Beer Fest. Every year, for a week in September, beer lovers from all over the country make their ways to the beer capital of the west for a week of events centered on the almighty brew!

When people think of TCO, they think martinis. Sleek, sexy martinis… but during Denver Beer Fest we were in full beer mode. Exclusive tastings brought some of the latest creations from local brewers through our doors. We designed food and beer pairings that maximized all of the flavors of the season. This year, we even hosted a book signing with Josh Bernstein for his new book ‘Brewed Awakening”! Josh spent years researching the craft brewing revolution in the U.S. and the book is being revered by critics and brewers alike. If that’s not enough, we teamed up with many local breweries to offer specialty tap beers during the entire week. With TCO only two blocks away from the Convention Center, we got to hob nob with all the beer nuts!

It was a crazy week. Thank goodness we didn’t run out of beer!

The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar, Denver, CO

The passion… the drama… THE STAGE!!!

A peasant named Jean Valjean is imprisoned for 19 years after stealing a loaf of bread to feed his starving family during the Industrial Revolution in France.

Claude, a young man living the free love life in 1960’s New York, struggles with decisions that could alter his life forever. Does he dodge the draft to uphold his pacifistic beliefs or will he please his parents and fight in a war he doesn’t believe in?

Young Cub Simba, feels like an outcast after his father dies trying to save him. He flees his home leaving his Uncle Scar to take over the Pride Lands when really Scar is the villain of the story and is the one who killed Simba’s father.

Loss and struggle, joy and hope, these emotions bring forth the greatest stories on the stage. These productions take us to a time and place we can’t visit on our own. They let us live, for a short time, in a level of drama that you and I just can’t get in real life.

Now, going to dinner may not include the excitement that a fight for your convictions or your freedom can provide; however, we can offer a small taste of the stage before you head off to the theatre. TCO’s new theatre menus are a three act accompaniment that pair perfectly with a bit of theatrical drama! Imagine the ecstasy of Mussels Basquaise with house made chorizo and a traditional Basque style pipperade. Embrace the passion of a Bordelaise sauce with a perfectly cooked steak. Then, with the finale of Fresh Beignets paired with lemon curd and chantilly cream, you’ll be ready to step into the world of wonder and spectacle of the Denver Performing Arts Center stage.

The 3 course menu debuts September 2nd and will be served Wednesdays through Saturdays throughout the rest of the year.
